How to Play 2048

Use your arrow keys, WASD, or swipe your screen to slide all tiles in one direction. When two tiles with the same number collide during a move, they merge into one tile with double the value (e.g. 2 + 2 = 4, 4 + 4 = 8, 1024 + 1024 = 2048).

Strategy Tips

• Pick a corner: Keep your highest-value tile locked in one designated corner (like the bottom-right or bottom-left).
• Maintain descending rows: Build a snake-like chain of decreasing numbers leading to your largest tile.
• Avoid moving in all 4 directions: If your corner is bottom-right, try to only move Right, Down, and occasionally Up—avoid swiping Left unless forced.
• Use Undo when needed: Made an accidental swipe? Hit the Undo button to step back and preserve your strategy.
